Matthew 10:6 but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Don't go to the gentiles?  Why not?  I find this very interesting.  But sometimes things have to be done in the right way and in the right order.  The prophecy says first to Israel and then Samaria and then the rest of the world.

Sometimes we need to build foundations before we go to the harvest.  It is this ordered discipline that we often find objectionable.  I think we would all like to do the exciting stuff that has payoff and makes us feel good.  But it is often the tough hard work that is most important.

Father, help me by your Holy Spirit to seek to do what is necessary and what you will.  Help me not to get caught up with pride.
