While we were yet sinners

Exodus 19:2-6 Psalm 100:1-3, 5 Romans 5:6-11 Matthew 9:36 -- 10:8

Romans 5:8  But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

We like to think we are good because we do things for good people.  Christ died for sinners, for people who had betrayed, denied and hated him.  He died for sinners.

Can we love the sinners?

Father, help me by  your Holy Spirit to not only bless those who I think are deserving, but all people. Help me to trust that love is what you want from us and that you will be with us.
