Breaking Point

Mark 12:9  What will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants, and give the vineyard to others.

There is a tendency in Christian circles to think that God is all merciful and he will forgive every offense.  But this doesn't seem to hold up to actual scripture.  What is clear in scripture is that God has a breaking point.  He will only allow so much and no more.  Now that "so much" is more than we are willing to allow.  He certainly shows grace that we are incapable of showing, yet he still has a breaking point.
Truth and justice must be upheld.  But justice is a relative thing.  God's justice is the only one that matters though.  He will destroy those who stubbornly refuse to follow.

Father, help me by your Holy Spirit to always seek to repent from my evil ways.  I confess that I do turn from you and take for myself the blessing of this life, but I still want to repent and follow you.

Amen
