Being a sheep

First Reading:Revelation 21:1-5
Psalm:Psalm 95:1-7
Gospel:John 10:22-30

Psalms 95:2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

A relationship with God begins with worship. We must understand that he has called and us and shepherded us. We have everything to be thankful for and when we realize that then we are his sheep. Being his sheep means that we understand that he is the shepherd. Giving thanks is the language that we need to communicate with God. Relationship is based communication and giving thanks is that communication.

Father, help me by your Holy Spirit to always realize that you are the source of all that I have and that I am. Help me to give thanks in all things and enter into relationship with you.
