Luke 17:18  Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?"

It is very easy to take God's mercy and grace for granted.  Of for that matter to even think that it is us who are good and kind and forget that it is in Christ's name that we are called.  Sometimes it takes a foreigner, or one who we think less of to show us our own pride and weakness. 

Father, help me by your Holy Spirit to always remember that it is in your name that I am called to righteousness, the my good deeds and well being without recognizing your grace and mercy is dishonorable.
